Please read this section before purchasing from G5 Clothing
It is important that your items are customised perfectly. You may have a design already made or you might like us to create one for you. Charges are listed below. If you are submitting artwork then it should be submitted in a suitable format as laid out in the artwork guidelines below, otherwise charges may apply. Printing and Postage period All orders are sent via 1st class, recorded delivery. Refunds & Returns If there is a problem with your item of clothing, contact us within 14 days of recieving your order and we will review your query. (We cannot guarantee that we will be able to return or refund your item or solve the problem, but we will definetly access it) Design Guidlines General rules for submission • The art must be submitted in vector format (.ai, .cdr, .eps) – If you can’t supply the art this format then we can re-create artwork using another format (.bmp, .jpg, .gif, etc…). But a charge will apply for this service. • On solid colour prints, the thinnest lines cannot be less than 3mm. • On complex or photographic prints, we prefer the artwork in vector or a high-resolution image to ensure the finished product is of high quality. • All text should be converted to outline File Programs and Formats We prefer the files to be sent in the .ai or .eps format. We need artwork saved as version CS2 or below. On solid colour prints, thinnest line can be no less than 3mm: The reason the thinnest line can be no less than 3mm is because of the process in which the print is prepared. The print has to be cut out using a plotter machine, after it has been cut out we have to weed (take off) the excess print that does not need to be printed, it is impossible to weed around lines less than 3mm. That is why all lines must be at least 3mm thick. Text Converted to Outlines If you don't know how to convert text to outlines, please make sure you email a copy of the font you have used. |
